Aye, I Am A Fairy
(The Fairies Saga, Book 2)

Time travel can't be real...can it?
There had to be another explanation.

Leah's mother had disappeared a year ago, then suddenly reappeared looking forty years younger. She vanished again, but this time, left behind her solar-powered smartphone. Was Leah brave enough to look for clues on it? And where had Mom disappeared to? Again. Then there was the strange call from Lord James Melbourne who claimed to have vital information. He was definitely a hottie, seemed sweet and generous, but could she trust him?

**Note: The books in The Fairies Saga are numbered for historical sequence only. Each is a stand alone story. If you decide you want to know more about a character: where they came from or where they eventually wound up, check outyour book's number and go from there! (Much like the Star Wars movies)

The Fairies Saga, tales of time travelers and their friends and family who bounce between the present day and the 18th century, interacting with the 'fictional' characters of the 'Lost' romance novels. Revenge, intrigue, and passion were never so sweet.

Character Interview with Cee from Manifesting Destiny by M Pepper Langlinais @evernightteen #amazongiveaway #YA #PNRM

We are thrilled to be interviewing Cee(and Livian),
the main character from MANIFESTING DESTINY

How did you first meet your writer?
Cee: In the school corridor. She was eavesdropping, which is rude.

Did you ever think that your life would end up being in a book?
Cee: No. Books are strictly regulated, for one thing.

What are your favorite scenes in your book: the action, the dialog or the romance?
Cee: (squeaking) Romance?! I don’t . . . That’s not . . .
Livian: The part where I eat people.
Cee: It was only the one person. We’re working on that, on not eating people.

What do you like to do when you are not being actively read somewhere?
Cee: Hang around with Marcus, I suppose.
Livian: Eat people.

Are you happy with the genre your writer has placed you in?
Cee: I think we placed her in our genre, really.

If you could rewrite anything in your book, what would it be?
Cee: I wouldn’t get Marcus in trouble like that. I wouldn’t let Livian get him in trouble like that.
Livian: I can’t make you do anything you don’t really, secretly want to do.

Do you like the way the book ended?
Cee: I didn’t see the ending, so I don’t know.

Would you be interested in a sequel, if your writer was so inclined?
Cee: She’s already working on it, I believe. Which is good because I didn’t want to be left in the forest for forever.

What is your greatest fear?
Cee: I don’t . . .
Livian: Her greatest fear is never finding love.
Cee: Livian!
Livian: I’m in here. I know these things.

What embarrasses you?
Cee: Livian.

What is something no one knows about you?  Why do you keep it a secret?  And what would happen if everyone found out about it?
Livian: If we tell you, it wouldn’t be a secret and then everyone would find out.

What do you find most appealing in men/women?
Livian: I like a somewhat salty flavor. Gender doesn’t matter.
Cee: I like—
Livian: She likes tall and skinny.
Cee: Livian!

What do you find most unappealing in men/women?
Livian: If there’s a lot of hair it clogs up my throat.
Cee: (rolls eyes)

What word makes you the happiest?
Livian: For her? “Marcus.” Or maybe it’s “Diodoric” now.
Cee: For him it’s “lunch.”
Livian: I also like “dinner.”

What would you not like to do?
Cee: Eat any more people.
Livian: Spoilsport.

What is your most favorite memory?
Cee: This time Marcus and I went to the theatre and then out for ice cream afterwards. It’s my favorite and my saddest because that was the day . . . Without coming out and saying it, the day I realized . . .
Livian: It was the day she figured out he’s gay and was never going to reciprocate her feelings.
Cee: . . .
Livian: If we’d waited for you to be polite about it, it would have taken all day.

What’s your favorite animal?
Livian: Dragon.
Cee: I really like cats, actually.
Livian: Traitor.

What do you admire about your parents?
Cee: Well, I admire that my foster parents took such care considering I’m not theirs and they always knew I would be leaving them. Or most likely would be, anyway. Even so, they honestly love me. Or did. I don’t know now, after everything, how they feel about me. But they were always good to me, and good citizens, and I admire that.

Thanks again for visiting with us today !!!!
It was a pleasure to meet you both and we'd love to have you back any time !

M Pepper Langlinais
Romance/Paranormal/Fantasy
65K, Evernight Teen Publishing

Sixteen-year-old Cee has a hopeless crush on her best friend Marcus. Unfortunately for her, he’s gay. In the wake of Marcus’s older brother leaving home to join the Aerie, Marcus has become increasingly distant. When Cee discovers she has a troublesome dragon named Livian living inside her things grow even more complicated.

Marcus urges Cee to go to the Magi to have Livian removed, but the more Cee becomes attached to Livian, the more she questions the decision. Should she change her natural self for the crush who will never love her anyway?

Excerpt:
Heat spread through her. Cee’s face elongated, her arms extended, her nails formed into claws, and her feet became suddenly very heavy. The bony spires erupted from her shoulders, and Cee was compelled to double over to allow the wings to grow.
Throughout, Cee fought the urge to resist, though her instinct was to do just that. She wondered what she looked like, caught a glimpse of red scales, and realized her eyesight had become sharper. All the details of the trees around her impressed themselves upon her brain: the cracks and flakes in the bark, the saw-tooth edges of the leaves, and every little spot and insect thereupon.
How big was she? Cee realized she was at eye level with the middle of the trees. She looked down and saw her friends pushing themselves even harder against the trunks, making way for Cee’s—or Livian’s, she supposed—tail as it snaked by.
Yes, we’re very pretty, said Livian impatiently. But we don’t have time for showing off just now.
The massive wings began to move, slowly at first, gathering speed that put the force of the helicopter’s artificial wind to shame. Cee realized she had no control over what was happening. It was all Livian, and she was housed inside him, somehow, along for the ride.
It was equal parts thrilling and petrifying, bursting through the treetops and being free of gravity. Cee would have liked to spend more time experiencing it, but there was the helicopter, like a massive black bug, and Livian went right for it.
